HOW DO I USE A WAX MELT?
- Place your choice of melt in the top of the melt warmer. (DON’T ADD WATER)
- If you’re using a traditional burner, light a tea light candle & place a piece of the melt warmer. Allow the wax to melt and the fragrance to fill the room. If you’re using an electric burner; pop in the melt and just flick the on switch!
HOW DO I CHANGE MY WAX MELT?
Tealight Burner - Light your tealight until all the wax has melted and use kitchen roll or cotton pads/balls to soak up all of the melted wax (be cautious as the wax will be hot). Wipe away any excess wax with some kitchen roll or cotton pads & you’re good to go!
Electric Burner - Turn the burner on until all the wax has melted and use kitchen roll or cotton pads/balls to soak up all of the melted wax (be cautious as the wax will be hot). Wipe away any excess wax with some kitchen roll & pop your new melt in!
**DISCLAIMER — DO NOT discard hot liquid wax down sinks/toilets/drains etc as this will cause blockages once the wax hardens. Poppy Melts is not liable for any drain blockages due to customer misuse.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CLEAN MY BURNER?
How regularly you clean your wax melt warmer is really up to you but if you can, we recommend doing so every time you change your wax to make sure no residue from previous scents is left over. This way, not only will you get to enjoy the full fragrance of individual scents rather than a potentially odd combination of two but your dish should also last that little bit longer as it will have been properly looked after. Mixing two scents together may also create new allergens so please be cautious.
HOW LONG AFTER I PLACE MY ORDER UNTIL I RECEIVE MY ITEMS?
We currently have a turnaround time of 7-10 working days (Monday-Friday) before orders are dispatched. Most orders tend to get out alot quicker but please still bare in mind the turnaround time when ordering. If you are wanting to order for a special occasion as a gift, feel free to contact us to check the order will be dispatched and delivered in time for the day.
I'M NOT FULLY HAPPY WITH MY ORDER/SOMETHING IS MISSING, WRONG OR DAMAGED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We do our best to ensure everything is top notch and correct, however we are only human and the occasional mistake may occur. If something in your order is not quite right, or you're just not fully happy, please reach out to us so we can ensure things are corrected and that you've left us feeling happy.
